Archeo
Archeo serves as a deep dive into the creative process and technical mastery of level design, exploring the nuances of interactive storytelling within a story rich adventure setting. A frigid mountain village, a musky flooded cave, a tropical shoreline, and a beautiful vista atop a hill. Archeo sees players traverse these various environments on their way to many further adventures to come!

Level, Designed.Archeo was presented as a challenge in level design. The goal wasn't just to make an experience that looks good, but one that is also capable of silently guiding the player. Leading lines, landmarks, colour theory, the golden path, prospect and refuge, hard gates and player valves represent just some of the common level design practices employed in this project. Archeo doesn't tell the player what to do, because it doesn't have to. Players enter this world, and at every moment know exactly where to go, and what to do.
